Terms & conditions

  1. Promoter
    The promoter of this competition is Folkestone & Hythe District Council (“Promoter”).
  2. Eligibility
  • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of the Promoter, prize partners (Rocksalt, Port Lympne Reserve, Stagecoach), or their families are not eligible to enter.
  1. How to enter
  • Entry is via the official competition entry form on co.uk.
  • Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries may be disqualified.
  1. Competition period
  • The competition opens on 6 February and closes on at midnight on Saturday 21 February.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  1. The prize
    One winner will receive:
  • A one-night stay at Rocksalt (B&B), including breakfast.
  • Two entry tickets to Port Lympne Reserve.
  • Two South East DayRider tickets from Stagecoach. Tickets must not be resold. Travel is subject to Stagecoach’s Conditions of Carriageand service availability. Stagecoach is not responsible for service disruption, missed connections or any additional costs incurred. The prize consists of two discount codes redeemable on the Stagecoach app, allowing the winner to purchase two (2) South East DayRiders at no cost to the winner.
    The discount code is valid only within the Stagecoach app and only for the specified ticket type.
    The discount code must be redeemed before 30th April 2026.

Prize partners: Rocksalt, Port Lympne Reserve, Stagecoach South East.

  • The prize is for two people and is non-transferable.
  • Travel and stay must be taken between January and April 2026.
  • No cash alternative is available.
  1. Winner selection and notification
  • The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
  • The winner will be notified via the contact details provided within seven days of the closing date.
  • If the winner does not respond within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  1. Promoter rights
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the competition or any part of it at any time without prior notice.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition or the prize.
  1. Entry conditions
  • Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or submitted in breach of these T&Cs will be disqualified.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical failures, lost entries, or other issues beyond its reasonable control.
  1. Data protection
  • By entering the competition, entrants agree to the Promoter storing and using their personal data for the purpose of administering the competition.
  • Data will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at https://www.folkestoneandhythe.co.uk/privacy-policy/
  • Entrants can opt-in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter; this is not a requirement to enter.
  1. Publicity
  • By accepting the prize, the winner consents to their name and image being used for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where legally permissible.
  1. Governing Law
  • This competition is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
