Folkestone Restaurant Week: A Seaside Feast for Just £20.26
Folkestone Restaurant Week is coming to the Kent coast this November, offering food lovers the perfect excuse for a midweek seaside escape.
Inspired by the popular initiative in neighbouring Margate, Folkestone is getting its own celebration of the town’s thriving food scene — and with two courses for just £20.26, there’s never been a better reason to book a table and head to the coast.
Taking place from 9–13 November, Folkestone Restaurant Week will bring together some of the town’s much-loved restaurants, cafés, pubs and foodie hotspots, with Sandgate joining the feast too.
From exotic international flavours and modern dining to traditional fish and chips and classic pub favourites, the event promises plenty of choice. Whether you’re planning a meal with friends, a relaxed lunch or simply looking for an excuse to explore Folkestone’s increasingly diverse food scene, there’s something to tempt every appetite.

Make a day of it
Of course, the food is only part of the attraction. Folkestone makes an ideal destination for a day trip or short seaside break, with plenty to see and do before or after your meal.
Take in the coastal scenery, explore the town’s cultural attractions, wander through its distinctive neighbourhoods or simply enjoy some fresh sea air before sitting down to eat. Sandgate, just along the coast, offers another reason to extend your trip and explore beyond Folkestone itself.
Whether you’re a dedicated foodie or simply looking for a reason to get out of town, Folkestone Restaurant Week offers a tempting combination: a seaside setting, a choice of local restaurants and two courses for £20.26.
So grab a friend or two, make a day of it and discover what’s cooking along the Kent coast this November.
