For ten days, the seaside town hosts world-famous authors, rising voices, and thinkers from all walks of life. The festival opens in style on Thursday 13 November with Joanne Harris, bestselling author of Chocolat, and closes on Sunday 23 November with the legendary Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting. In between, audiences can explore talks, workshops, performances, and events that celebrate stories of all kinds.
