Kent Crisps launch new Lamb & Rosemary flavour

Kent Crisps have launched the newest addition to their range of hand cooked potato crisps, Lamb & Rosemary flavour.  Staying true to the brand’s signature approach of working with Kent producers to create classic flavours using real produce with a local twist, the new flavour uses grass fed Romney lamb from Kent Shepherd.

In keeping with the pack imagery that Kent Crisps are renowned for, featuring some of Kent’s most famous landmarks & landscapes, and with an obvious tie to the Romney Marsh, the new launch features Thomas à Beckett Church at Fairfield on the front of pack, photographed by local photographer Darryn Jenner.

Laura Bounds MBE, owner, Kent Crisps commented “I am incredibly proud to be launching our newest flavour, especially as we celebrate Kent Crisps’ tenth anniversary.  My passion lies in creating strong partnerships with fellow Kent producers, whilst also showcasing all the county has to offer and our new Lamb & Rosemary flavour encompasses this all perfectly.”

This partnership is especially notable, as Laura & Marie attended the same local primary school, both being Kent born & raised.  Marie now keeps over 500 Romney sheep on the family farm near Folkestone and added “It’s been really exciting to work with Kent Crisps on their newest flavour and I love their ethos of using real products.  The lamb flavour really shines through and it’s just like eating a Sunday roast in a crisp!”

The new launch brings the range to a total of 8 delicious flavours, which include Sea Salt, Oyster & Vinegar, Smoked Chipotle Chilli, Ashmore Cheese & Onion, Sea Salt & Vinegar with Biddenden Cider, Beef & Spitfire Ale and Ham & Mustard.

Launching in time for Easter, Lamb & Rosemary flavour is available from independent stockists across the South East, including Macknade, Kent Veg Box and Detling Community Store, along with regional Southern Co-op stores, with more outlets being added daily.
