MyFolkestone’s Winter 2020 Guide has arrived and shares the latest from the creative and vibrant seaside town in Kent.

Packed with news from Folkestone & Hythe District Council including the newly named Folca building, ways to support local businesses this Christmas, and the latest updates from across the district, including F51 and The Chambers.

“Folkestone’s many independent traders offer a fantastic shopping experience and mark us out as truly unique, from the businesses that make up the Creative Quarter, to our town centre cafés and retailers and our popular local markets.

“Lockdown has really highlighted the importance of local businesses to the communities we live in. Our independent traders are special and I hope our residents will continue to support them this winter and beyond,” said Cllr David Monk, Leader of Folkestone & Hythe District Council.

The MyFolkestone team shared, “As we all know, it has been a hugely challenging year for so many of our local businesses but we wanted to still celebrate the festive period with you and showcase what many of you are doing to mark Christmas – even if it is a little bit different than normal.

“You will also discover more of our Faces of Folkestone, who have been keeping our community together, and explore how you can still join in with some Christmas magic whilst doing your part to support our high streets in Folkestone.”
